Lead Exposure Awareness: TR - 019

Course Length: 4 hours each
This program is designed for employees with the potential to encounter lead exposure hazards in the workplace. The program content is designed to satisfy the annual training requirements of CFR 1910. 1025 (l)(1)(i) addressing the requirements of appendix A and B of the standard.

Content includes:

  • Review of the OSHA standards pertaining to General Industry or Construction
  • Operations which could result in exposure to lead above the action level
  • Purpose and description of medical surveillance program
  • Adverse health effects associated with over exposure to lead
  • Engineering controls and methods associated lead exposure

Course length: 4 hours
Prerequisites: None
Note: If the employees are exposed above regulatory levels, then respirator training should be scheduled in conjunction with this training.
