8-Hour Trench/Excavation Competent Person
Course Length: 8 hours
This program trains employees on the OSHA Excavations Standard – Subpart P.

- Know how to perform an inspection of a trench/excavation
The employee is tested to determine understanding and knowledge of the requirements. A test grade of 80% is required for successful completion. Training can be done on or off site depending on the client’s needs.
Note: Attendees who successfully complete the course can be registered with the National Utilities Contractors Association (NUCA) at an additional charge.
