Rescue & Emergency Response Training
Safety Training and Consulting proudly supports the development of private sector emergency response teams and programs. Our technical training team provides OSHA hazwoper training, OSHA confined space rescue training, high angle rescue training and mine rescue training. Our medical response offerings include DOT medical first responder training and American Heart Association responder training to include; Adult, child and infant CPR and first aid, AED use, basic life support for health care providers, pediatric first aid for child care centers and bloodborne pathogens training.
In addition to emergency training, Safety Training and Consulting provides full emergency standby services to support confined space entry activities; high hazard fall exposure activities, and EMT and medical staffing. All rescue technicians are qualified to establish entry plans, develop rescue plans and procedures for client specific activities.

- Hazwoper - Technician 24 Hour Operations
- Hazardous materials technicians are individuals who respond to releases or potential releases for the purpose of stopping the release.
- Hazwoper -Technician Annual Refresher
- Hazardous materials technicians shall receive 8 hours annual training and demonstrate competencies and knowledge required by the OSHA standards.
- Hazwoper - Awareness Level (Defensive/Support)
- Awareness level employees are individuals who are likely to discover a hazardous substance release and who have been trained to initiate an emergency response plan.
- Hazwoper - Incident Commander Training
- A course for key personnel that are required by their job duties and responsibilities to be able to implement and perform assigned duties within the companies identified Incident Command system.
- Incipient Fire Responder Training
- Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Develop a sense of confidence in the SCBA and the employees’ ability to use the SCBA through hand-on use of the SCBA. This is accomplished by suing various exercises requiring varied levels of efforts and skills while wearing the SCBA.
