8-Hour AHA Basic Life Support Training

Course Length: 8 hours

BLS is the professional level of CPR training. It is used by nurses, doctors, paramedics, EMTs, and other health care providers.

This is an eight hour class that covers:

• Adult, child, and infant CPR
• Adult and child AED
• Adult, child, and infant choking
• Two rescuer CPR
• Bag valve mask

The lecture portion of BLS is also offered on-line by the American Heart Association. Safety Training and Consulting offers the skills check off and written test to accompany the on-line training.

All students who successfully complete either the classroom or on-line training will receive:

• An American Heart Association BLS card good for two years
• An American Heart Association Student Manual (Classroom course only)

Everything required to teach the course is supplied by Safety Training and Consulting. This includes all audiovisual equipment and all training materials. The class is scheduled at your convenience, and your location.
