Water Jetting: TR-057
Course Length: 8 Hours
Classroom Time: 4 Hours
Practical Evaluations: Approximately 30 minutes per employee
(Inexperienced/ Experienced Operators)
The classroom portion is designed to cover the OSHA standard(s) for water jetting and includes:
- Hazards of water jetting.
- Workplace hazards
- Inspection
- Safe operation
- Operator responsibilities.
- Different types of attachments
- Written test
The practical exercises includes:
- Pre-operational inspection of the water jetting equipment
- Practical evaluation in which each employee operates the water jetting equipment.
- Evaluation of training (Examples: peers, instructor, coaches, etc.)
Learning tools include audio visual instruction, handouts and discussion.
