Payloader/Skid Steer: TR-049

Practical Evaluations: Approximately 30 minutes per employee

The classroom portion is designed to cover the OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926 Sub Part O and 29 CFR 1926.602 for payloaders and skid steers and includes:
- Hazards of payloader/slid steer operation.
- Operator responsibilities
- Workplace hazards
- Safe operation
- Inspection
- Load capacities
- Different models of payloaders/skid steers and attachments
- Written test
The practical exercises includes:
- Pre-operational inspection of sayloaders and skid steers.
- Practical evaluation in which each employee operates the payloader and skid steer through a pre-designed course.
- Evaluation of training (Examples: peers, instructor, coaches, etc.)
Learning tools include audio visual instruction, handouts and discussion.
