Off Road Trucks: TR-053

Practical Evaluations: Approximately 30 minutes per employee

The classroom portion is designed to cover the OSHA standard(s) for off-road trucks and includes:
- Hazards of off-road trucks
- Operator responsibilities
- Workplace hazards
- Safe operation
- Inspection
- Load capacities
- Different models
- Written test
The practical exercises includes:
- Pre-operational inspection of the off-road truck
- Practical evaluation in which each employee operates the off-road truck through a pre-designed course.
- Evaluation of training (Examples: peers, instructor, coaches, etc.)
Learning tools include audio visual instruction, handouts and discussion.
